In a nutshell:
·
We flew with Jackson for the first time. While
he only slept about 45 minutes of the 2.5 hour flight there and back, he was
definitely a trooper, and did awesome. Having only a couple fussy moments (he
was OVER being held), I’d call the first flight(s) a success.
·
Several family members came from out of town. We
are so grateful and blessed that so many people wanted to celebrate Jackson
with us (and meet him for the first time)!
·
I think I got 15 hours of total sleep over 3
nights. Jackson slept great, but his hours were off a bit, and we went to bed
pretty late, and Jackson woke up pretty early.
·
We spent our days and nights hanging out with
family and friends, literally the whole time.
·
Jackson was baptized (see previous post). This
meant even more get-together’s and celebrations!
A picture is worth a thousand words, right? Here’s the run
down from Labor Day weekend:
We are lucky.
